Tonbridge SC Club Championships 2025

TSC are once again licensing the Club Championships (Level 4) so that times will be recorded on the Swim England Rankings system and can count towards Kent County Qualifying (subject to Kent ASA conditions).

There are 5 separate days of racing over 2 different venues, as per Conditions document attached, so do please make sure you make a note in your diaries for all the sessions / events you enter.
Some important notes:
  • Entry is £free this year.
  • Swimmers 10yrs and under (as of 31st Dec) are invited to enter the inaugural Pam Mills Memorial Trophy Races
  • To enter the Pam Mills Memorial Trophy Races (50m freestyle for 10yrs/under) please enter events 1 (boys) or 2 (girls) - on Thu 9th Oct.
  • To enter the Champs 50m freestyle as well (we’d hope you will enter both), enter event 10 - on Sun 23rd Nov.
  • Only your top 9 scoring Champs events count towards the various age group / gender trophies awarded in January (LTS trophies are based just on the 25m race results).
  • Advice as to what to enter is on page 1, and the programme of events is on page 3, of the attached Conditions document.
Please seek your Lead Coach advice if you want further guidance as to what to enter. For example, Gold squad swimmers are encouraged to enter the 50m races at the Halloween Festival of Swimming on Sun 2nd Nov (invites out soon for LTS up to Gold squad) and perhaps concentrate on the 100m and longer races in these Champs.

  • If anyone wants to enter the1500m free (not in our Champs schedule) please make Nick / Head Coach aware, and we will assist you in finding a 1500m meet.
 
Championship Entry closing date: is Thursday 2nd October. You can edit your entries up to that date.
Offcials: We will be seeking LOADS of officials nearer the dates, especially for the Sunday dates of 23rd & 30th November
